I’m Tina Rai!

My name is Tina Rai and I completed my master's degree in Ecology from ITPCAS in China. My research was based on bacterial community composition in glacial surface snow of the southern Tibetan Plateau. I studied the bacteria and environmental factors affecting the bacterial community composition of that area.

ITPCAS is the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

I belong to an indigenous group called "Rai" of my country "Nepal". My family is an inspiration for me to be who I am today. And my friends are always there for me in my good and bad days. I feel blessed to achieve their trust for me. Here is a photo at my elder brother's wedding.
